Compliance Management System
secunet operates a Compliance Management System in accordance with the IDW PS 980 standard. Within our Compliance Management System and the secunet Code of Conduct for Employees, we embed integrity and lawful conduct in our business activities and relationships.
Our Group-wide Compliance Management System (CMS) is designed to ensure adherence to applicable laws and internal policies, to identify risks and to investigate potential violations. It includes a compliance program aimed at preventing risks in day-to-day operations through the implementation of policies, service-oriented advisory support and the systematic review and clarification of reported concerns (potential compliance risks).

Our commitment to integrity, trust and respect
“Integrity is the greatest asset in our industry and forms the foundation of our organisation. Ethics and compliance are of central importance to us and we always act in accordance with applicable statutory requirements.
Our employees, customers and business partners can rely on us. We mean what we say, keep what we promise and take responsibility for it. As the Management Board, we set a good example – as a source of inspiration and as a role model for our employees, customers and business partners. We live diversity, tolerance and openness and treat everyone with respect. In order to promote an appreciative and inclusive working environment, we have signed the Diversity Charter.
On the Management Board, we face complex challenges every day and make decisions that require foresight and responsibility. An open and trusting ‘speak-up’ culture is essential for us. It is crucial to address concerns and challenges openly and discuss them together. It is only by means of transparent dialogue that we can develop the best solutions and continuously advance our company.”
Code of Conduct for Employees
Code of Conduct for Employees
The Code of Conduct for Employees forms the basis of secunet's compliance management system. It is binding for all employees of the secunet Group and also serves as a clear guide. Each individual is responsible for living and implementing our self-image every day and everywhere. Managers in particular have a responsibility to act as role models and actively exemplify the contents of this code. It is supplemented by internal guidelines, regulations and employment contract agreements, which together create a comprehensive basis for responsible and compliant behaviour within the secunet Group.
Supply Chain and Human Rights
For secunet, sustainable value creation means a triad of economic, ecological and social responsibility – whether in the development of our products, our services or within our supply chains. It is therefore particularly important to us to work together with our suppliers and business partners in a long-term partnership to ensure the sustainable development of our supply chain.
secunet is committed to complying with internationally recognised standards for human rights and associated environmental rights and does not tolerate any form of slavery, forced labour, child labour, human trafficking or exploitation in its own business activities or within its supply chain.
Our Code of Conduct for Suppliers and Business Partners defines the secunet Group's requirements for our suppliers and business partners and requires them to comply with all applicable laws and internationally recognised environmental, social and corporate governance standards (ESG standards).
Our commitment to human rights and environmental protection
As a leading German company in the field of IT security, secunet bears a special responsibility – towards people, the environment and society. With our policy statement, we are sending a clear signal: we are fully committed to respecting internationally recognised human rights and undertake to comply with environmental due diligence obligations throughout our entire supply chain. The declaration is based on the requirements of the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG) and international standards such as the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the ILO principles. In this way, we create transparency, promote trust and provide our business partners, customers and employees with clear guidance for responsible action. You can find out more about how we identify risks, engage in prevention and take action when necessary in our policy statement.

Code of Conduct for Suppliers and Business Partners
secunet has developed clear guidelines that enable responsible, honest and ethically correct cooperation with its suppliers and business partners in accordance with legal regulations. To ensure this, we expect our suppliers and business partners to comply with all applicable laws and internationally recognised environmental, social and corporate governance standards (ESG standards). Furthermore, we require them to work towards compliance with these standards throughout their entire supply chain within a framework that is appropriate for them. We firmly reject any form of slavery, human trafficking, corruption and bribery. The ESG standards described in the Code of Conduct for Suppliers and Business Partners are based on the ten principles of the UN Global Compact (UNGC), the principles of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG).
