Calculation of the TI-Pauschale for pharmacies
The calculation of the TI-Pauschale for pharmacies is based on the size of the pharmacy (two or more HBAs), the initial equipment (staggered according to the annual Rx fee) and the time of commissioning.

The TI applications in doctors' surgeries required by the Federal Ministry of Health (BMG) are
- since 2023:
- Emergency data management (NFDM) / electronic medication plan (eMP)
- Electronic patient file (ePA)
- Communication in the medical sector (KIM)
- from 2024:
- Electronic certificate of incapacity for work (eAU)
- Electronic doctor's letter (eArztbrief)
- Electronic prescriptions (ePrescription)

The software in pharmacies must support
- the electronic patient record (ePA),
- the electronic medication plan (eMP),
- the e-prescription and
- KIM (communication in medicine) by April 1, 2024 at the latest.

Background
Payers are legally obliged to reimburse the necessary costs for the TI. Since July 1, 2023, this obligation has been implemented on the basis of monthly flat rates. The total of the ongoing operating costs and the pro rata investment costs in practices and pharmacies are extrapolated over a period of five years and then reimbursed in monthly lump sums.
