secunet: Saxony's Prime Minister Tillich visits IT-Security Experts in Dresden

Internationally highly demanded IT high-security solutions developed in Saxony [Dresden, June 20, 2011] The Dresden branch of secunet Security Networks AG celebrated an official visit this morning, when Saxony's Prime Minister Stanislaw Tillich visited the site of the IT high-security solutions manufacturer.

The workers welcomed Prime Minister Tillich professionally and proudly as he walked through the site and curiously glanced into the offices. He received an on-site impression of the work at the IT high-security facility and had the opportunity to observe how high-tech encryption solutions are developed and produced in the heart of Dresden.

The CEO of secunet, Dr. Rainer Baumgart, led the Prime Minister through the facility and explained that, considering the current reports of hacker attacks on well-respected addresses, it is more important than ever to protect IT infrastructures from unauthorized access. "Only the rigorous application of encryption technology can protect against data loss. That's the only way to stop hackers," explains Baumgart. "Be it authorities or companies – it makes no difference who the hackers' potential victims are."
