TightGate-Pro – The remote-controlled browser system as a supplement to the SINA workstation at the Federal Administrative Court

The Federal Administrative Court (BVerwG) is the highest administrative court in Germany and handles legally and socially significant cases of high complexity. In combination with the SINA workstation, TightGate-Pro enables highly secure Internet use in the sensitive judicial environment without compromising sensitive judicial data. TightGate-Pro is a hardened remote browsing environment that acts as an isolating security instance between the Internet and the internal IT infrastructure. Web-based content is processed in a completely isolated manner, thus consistently preventing direct data flows between the internet and the internal network. This architecture enables employees to work securely, even in sensitive areas such as data protection or the handling of confidential procedural information, while complying with the highest IT security standards and without compromising user-friendliness.
