The HSK is the first connector variant designed specifically for centralised operation in data centres. As a server-based solution, the HSK replaces a large number of individual connectors and reduces the effort required for operation and administration.
TI Gateway: the next step towards a digital healthcare system
Using TIG, HSK 2.0 can connect a wide range of devices to the TI securely and with the appropriate support in a secure, approved data centre. As an ‘as-a-service’ offering, the TIG replaces the stationary connectors and enables centralised and high-performance TI access for all outpatient and inpatient care scenarios – whether for doctors' practices, hospitals or care facilities. Thus, smaller and mobile facilities can also benefit from TI access.
The secunet TIG was developed in collaboration with Worldline, the market leader in eHealth card terminals, with over 30 years of experience in the healthcare sector and a proven track record in the operation of secure, reliable and future-proof TI components and TI access solutions. The TIG is characterised by a convenient connection or migration of the connectors and a stable connection to the service providers.
“For a TI in transition, all service providers – especially those not yet connected to the TI – need a flexible solution that meets their specific needs and current requirements. The Highspeedkonnektor in the TI Gateway provides the technical basis for accessing the TI, enables flexible, highly scalable connection and can be managed centrally – for a future-proof path to the telematics infrastructure,” says Markus Linnemann, Vice President Division eHealth, secunet.
The TIG already serves as the basis and bridge to the next development stage, TI 2.0, which is set to be launched in the coming years.
