Secure access to the TI, the data highway of the German health sector, has so far been provided by physical connectors installed directly at the medical service providers such as doctors' surgeries, pharmacies and hospitals. This is what the original architecture of the TI envisages. But on the way to the planned second generation of the telematics infrastructure, TI 2.0, new access models are coming into focus that do not require local physical access points. With the high-speed connector, secunet will offer the technical basis for this in the future.
The secunet high-speed connector can be operated centrally, meets the requirements of larger networks and is multi-client capable. It offers maximum performance and reliability. In addition, it can be scaled as required and is fully updateable. This makes it a future-proof solution for a TI in transition.
The secunet portfolio of connectors now consists of three products: the single-box connector, the data centre connector (which can also be used centrally for several clients even today) and the high-speed connector for the renewed TI.
