secunet appoints Martin Braun as Vice President Public Authorities

secunet, Germany's leading cybersecurity company, has appointed Martin Braun as Vice President Public Authorities. In this position, he will be responsible for the further growth of the Public Authorities division together with Tilmann Stähler.

"I am looking forward to the new and exciting task," says Martin Braun. "Together with the team, we will focus on developing products, services and solutions for the fully digitalised public authority. Our ambition is to define digital security in this context. We will also open up our SINA products for the public administration to selected partners and multipliers."

Martin Braun succeeds Norbert Müller, who joined the management of the cloud acquisition SysEleven in the middle of last year. For the past eleven years, Martin Braun worked at CGI Germany, where he most recently held overall responsibility for the Technical Services & Consulting division as Senior Vice President. One of the most important tasks was the regional and supra-regional expansion of customer relationships as well as the management and development of the locations in Erfurt, Leipzig and Dresden. Since the end of 2016, he has developed the business unit with 15 employees at the time into a successful technology business consulting organisation with over 300 employees.

"In Martin Braun, we have been able to attract a successful manager who brings with him both extensive strategic experience in a growing corporate environment and specialist expertise in IT consulting," says Axel Deininger, CEO of secunet Security Networks AG. "We are very pleased that he is now part of the secunet team and are sure that he will make a great contribution to the success of our company."
