The secunet test laboratory provides formal testing services in a range of fields. This includes testing selected Technical Guidelines on electronic identity documents, biometric software and De-Mail (German secure E-Mail system), as well as information security audits.
Bernd Kowalski, the head of the Secure Electronic Identities, Certification and Standardisation department at BSI (German Federal Office for Information Security) presented the ISO 27001 certificate on the basis of IT-Grundschutz to Dr Rainer Baumgart, the Chairman of the Board of Management at secunet, at the 13th German IT Security Congress in Bonn-Bad Godesberg.

ISO 27001 certificate for secunet test laboratory
[Essen, Germany, 16 May 2013] At the 13th German IT Security Congress, the German Federal Office for Information Security presented secunet AG with an ISO 27001 certificate on the basis of IT-Grundschutz (baseline security). This confirms to the information network test laboratory for IT compliance at secunet that the requirements of ISO 27001 have been fulfilled and the IT-Grundschutz is applicable.
