Hardware encryption solution for your desk

The recently unveiled Layer 2 encryption system rounds off the lower end of the SINA Layer 2 product range with an encryption rate of 50 MBit/s at transport level. It is compatible with all SINA L2 Box S devices. The system's dimensions are significantly different to those of the other boxes in the series: the SINA L2 Box S 50M compact measures just 210 x 220 x 42 mm, so there is plenty of space for it on any desk.

The desk-top device does not require a fan, works silently and is suitable for use in environments without special demands in terms of noise or climate protection, such as in the office at work or at home. Alternatively, there are corresponding holders available that can hold two devices next to one another in a 19 inch rack for use in a server cabinet if preferred.

Data encryption in the device is hardware based and authentication takes place via an external smartcard reader. The SINA L2 Box S 50M compact is produced in Germany and can be configured by means of a SINA Management Installation or directly on the device. The product is available now.
