Data Protection Congress 2011: secunet Showcases Data Protection and Data Security Solutions

[Essen, May 12, 2011] The recent data protection incidents show that data protection and data security are more topical than ever. The protection of personal data – which includes customers' account and credit card details, for example – must be increasingly also viewed as business critical. At this year's Data Protection Congress in Berlin, secunet is showcasing solutions that ensure the protection of sensitive and critical data. secunet will be exhibiting its solutions at the 2011 Data Protection Congress on May 18 and 19 at the Pullman Berlin Schweizerhof hotel in Berlin.

secunet is one of the leading German providers of sophisticated IT security and advises companies and authorities on how to handle critical data. At the Data Protection Congress, secunet will be presenting the entire spectrum of data protection and data security solutions and services, such as Data Loss Prevention (DLP) systems, security analyses/audits, support for establishing security management, and support in the implementation of conformity with PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) or ISO 27001 on the basis of fundamental IT protection.
secunet also offers consulting services for the establishment of IT processes that conform with data protection. This involves analyzing and evaluating processes in terms of conformity with the principle of data economy and the implementation of measures such as anonymization, pseudonymization, and data aggregation.
