Ad hoc: secunet AG receives contract worth millions for network infrastructure

[Essen, 2 September 2008] secunet Security Networks AG achieved a contract for the delivery of products (hardware and software) and services within the scope of a big network infrastructure for public authorities in Germany from the main contractor (EADS Secure Networks GmbH). secunet’s business division “Government” is taking care of the project. High-security technologies from the SINA and secunet wall range will be employed. According to the framework contract, which will be valid for ten years, net sales of more than 90 million Euros can be achieved. For the ongoing business year 2008, orders have already been placed for deliveries worth 1.5 million Euros. The contracting parties agreed that further details of the framework contract shall remain confidential.
