Austria trusts in the evaluation competence of secunet

The Austrian State Printing House OeSD is responsible for developing and producing personalised high-security documents, e.g. for the new security passport, the national identity document and the driving licence in cheque card format. The Austrian e-passport is certified by the German Federal Office for Information Security BSI as per TR-03105. This certification was preceded by intensive evaluation conducted by secunet’s independent evaluation laboratory for IT conformity.
