Since 1997 Dr. Rainer Baumgart has been engaged at secunet Security Networks AG. In 1999 he became member of the management board which chair he took in 2001. He is responsible for the division Public Sector with the business units High Security and Government as well as for business development and communication. He has gained a unique 20 years know-how in the field of IT Security, among others at RWTÜV AG and TÜV IT, both in Essen.

Thomas Koelzer has been member of the management board at secunet Security Networks AG from 2004 and is responsible for the division Private Sector with the business units Business Security and Automotive. Before he joined secunet, he has been member of the management board of Secartis AG, a Giesecke and Devrient subcompany, Munich, that was taken over by secunet in 2004. From 1992 until 2000 he gained valuable experience in the field of IT at Gemplus, Stuttgart, as head of Sales and Marketing.

In the first instance, Thomas Pleines was commercial director of secunet GmbH. When the company changed into a stock corporation, he became member of the management board. He is responsible for the departments finance and controlling. Before that, he worked for RWTÜV AG, Essen, as head of commercial coordination SAP-systems, head of accountancy and head of tax division.
