Security audits for internal and external systems

Versorgungsverband deutscher Wirtschaftsorganisationen (VdW) was founded in 1925. It is the statutory purpose of this organisation to balance the pension costs encountered by the members of the pension association due to their pension promises through apportionment. The information processed by VdW are thus highly sensitive.

Because of this, the association ordered secunet to carry out both organisational audits of the IT-processes as well as technical audits of external and internal systems. It was the aim of the audits to discover possible weaknesses of the systems, to identify their risks and to recommend measures to minimize these risks.
