Hermes in Germany – different companies under one umbrella brand, all providing logistics services along the whole logistics chain, services that range from sourcing, quality assurance, transport logistics, fulfilment and parcel deliveries through to 2-man handling, letter and catalogue. Besides its presence in Germany, Hermes is also operating in England, Austria and Italy. 

In order to meet the high quality requirement the company sets for their services as well as for their IT-landscape, it asked secunet to carry out technical security analyses. Hermes thus wanted to identify weaknesses in their IT-landscape. Within the process of the technical analyses, secunet’s specialists tested all externally accessible systems.
