E-passport compliance testing
Verification of security and conformity is essential in the case of ID documents, e.g. contactless electronic passports. We carry out compliance tests in accordance with the BSI’s Technical Guideline TR-03105, Part 3. This includes testing of the logical layers (layers 6 and 7) of electronic travel documents. In close cooperation with an accredited partner laboratory, we also offer compliance tests for the physical layers in accordance with the Technical Guideline TR-03105, Part 2.

Compliance for biometrics software
The quality of the recorded feature and the data format in which the feature is saved in the electronic travel document are specified in detail. This is the only way to ensure seamless deployment of the e-passport in the international arena at a later point in time. The corresponding regulations for the entry, processing and transmission of biometric data are specified in a Technical Guideline (TRPDÜ) of the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI).
secunet provides manufacturers with the opportunity to test their software components which are used within the scope of the ordering process in passport offices in view of compliance with the Technical Guideline “TRPDÜ” (TR-03104). The Technical Guideline TR-03118, Part 2 of the BSI serves as the basis for compliance tests of biometric software. This provides you with critical certification of the compliance of your products.
